The Kenneth D. Wiggins G.NIUS Grant™ is designed to assist Black creative and/or tech-focused entrepreneurs with products, services, or solutions designed to positively impact Black communities.
This $500 micro-grant was created to honor and uplift Kenneth’s legacy while contributing to the Black community, similar to the products and services Kenneth created — In particular, BlackStock Images, the first site dedicated to providing Black-focused stock photography sourced from minority photographers.
The Kenneth D. Wiggins G.NIUS Grant™ is managed by our non-profit partner, the Viribus Foundation.
Kenneth was a creative visionary in every sense of the word. He encouraged and challenged both those who knew him personally and those who someday hoped to meet him. He believed “everyday problems shouldn’t be solved with ‘always done this way’ solutions” and called us to invent the status quo.
