Many large organizations have multiple departments that operate and budget independently of one another. Our Multi-Department Quote option allows these organizations to receive the maximum discount possible (based on their organization's total purchase) without needing to go through the time and hassle of trying to have all departments coordinate on making a single, combined purchase. Here's how it works...
An Example Scenario
Horizon College has multiple departments that would like to use our e-learning sessions during a school year:
They would like to get a group discount quote that reflects all of the sessions being purchased on their campus (not just each individual department). But, it would be very difficult and time consuming for all the department leaders to try to coordinate with one another and determine the total number of session that their campus needs. Then, it would be even more complicated for them to try to divide the total cost by department, distribute the license keys, etc.
Our Solution: Multi-Department Quote
Each department leader submits a Group Discount Quote Form for their department needs. On the form they check yes for "Is this part of a Multi-Department Quote request?". All departments must submit forms within a 7 day period. Once we receive the Group Discount Quote Form for each department we determine the appropriate group discount rate based on the total number of sessions being purchased by all departments. For example, for the scenario described above, the department rates may be:
Each department then decides if they wish to proceed or change their order. If they change their order we send an updated quote to all departments. Once we determine how many sessions each department would like to purchase we invoice each department separately. After we receive payment we create and send a customized license key to each individual department.
