I saw you, Pastor Williams on TBN 2/22/12 and your message is so clear to the Body of Christ. I’m 65 yrs. old and we are living on old hatred and even Afro-American believers are caught up in racism and not facing the issues of today to excel our people. Our schools in black neighborhoods are the worst. Our young teens can’t read when they graduate from school. Our young men who get out of prison after serving their time can’t get a job or vote, and our black leaders are still crying racism and not working towards changing laws.
I wish you had not worn that particular vest (very distracting), but your right on with your message! Look up Star Parker. She has an organization in Wash. DC called CURE. She is a believer and well balanced in her message.
I see your last posted message was a year ago. See where our minds are? We don’t like truth.

Thanks for your comments! I appreciated the courage of Scott Williams to post this video during one of the most widely viewed conferences in 2009; The Nines.

I wondered about the symbol on his vest as well and I asked him about this via twitter. His response was that it is NOT a masonic symbol. If you look carefully you’ll notice that there’s an “M” rather than a “G” in the symbol. The M stands for “Merona”; a Target brand clothing line.

I do agree that his vest could distract from the message. But maybe that is why he wore the vest in the first place? I wonder if we should be more bothered by the symbol on his vest or the message that the church still lacks racial unity in 2010?

Excellent message! Clear, straight to the point. However, I was distracted by Scott’s vest…Masonic symbol?!? What’s with that? Was it inadvertent? I hope so…but, surely one would (should) know what that symbol is and means before putting it on in a public video. Was it advertising? Sure seems so… It appears that the prominence of the symbol was to attract attention and connect with those which have a like affinity. Secret societies have no place in the Body of Christ! To be speaking a message of inclusion while displaying the symbol of a secret, exclusive society? Mixed messages!! If, Scott, you are a Mason, take great care. Our God is a jealous God, and competing loyalties have no place…

Thanks for sharing this. He’s right, we still don’t want to or are uncomfortable discussing this topic but it’s still as relevant today as it has ever been.
