Restricted Donations Policy
It is always our intention—and our policy—to use donated funds in accordance with our donor’s stated desire to the maximum extent possible. In the large majority of cases, funds coming in are promptly put to that use. However, on the rare occasion funding may no longer be needed for the project or staff person that has been designated. When that happens we reserve the right to reallocate the excess where needed most. For example, if a person leaves the ReNew staff or if more funds are received than are needed for a particular project we would reallocate the excess to fund other ReNew initiatives. We will never intentionally ask for more support than is needed for a project or staff person nor will we arbitrarily reallocate restricted funds.
